Weekend cursus in Hasselt, in het Engels

Workshop met elementen uit dramatherapie, sjamanisme, Joanna Macy’s Work that Reconnects en Movement Medicine (dynamische dansmeditatie). Iedereen welkom!

Drawing on the magical maps of Movement Medicine we will expand our capacity to listen deeply, connect to our compassion for and perspective on life, embodying the depth of relationship with the energy of the Wise Elder who lives within us and loves us and all of life. 

This weekend follows the journey with Ben of exploring the 3 main resourcing archetypes in the Movement Medicine maps - The Dancing Fool, The Dancing Warrior and now the Wise Elder, and is open to all regardless of prior experience of Movement Medicine or any other conscious dance practice.

Ben Yeger is een erkend Movement Medicine lesgever. Sinds 2012 geeft hij les in heel Europa. Van 2015 tot 2021 was hij staflid van de School of Movement Medicine. Ben is dramatherapeut en heeft veel ervaring met het begeleiden van groepsprocessen. Hij is ook systemisch coach en consulent voor organisaties. Hij is de directeur van Moving Conflicts. Als eco- en vredesactivist doet hij al meer dan 25 jaar onderzoek naar de duizenden vormen en kleuren van conflict. Bekijk hier zijn TEDX gesprek om zijn persoonlijke reis van een oorlogshart naar een vredeshart te zien.

 

 

 

Ben geeft bij Oost West Centrum Movement Medicine dansweekends in Hasselt (met telkens op vrijdagavond een aparte introductiecursus die je los kan volgen als kennismaking). The Wisdom of Conflict, The Wisdom of Truth en Heart of Peace zijn workshops met focus op conflicthantering. The Wisdom of the Wounded Healer bevat ook elementen uit het sjamanisme. Zijn werk is geïnspireerd door Joanna Macy's The Work that Reconnects. Samen met Rosie Perks geeft hij een Movement Medicine retraite in de natuur (Ardennen, OWC Orval): Initiation, een 9-daagse reis doorheen de levenscycli. En samen met David Mooney begeleidt hij een Movement Medicine mannenworkshop: Heart of Brothers.
