A BISO Conscious Movement workshop with Cathy Ryan

Listening is paying attention.
Listening is an attunement to the nature of existence, where everything is constantly moving and fluctuating.
Where everything is in a state of change and transformation, a place of movement.
We also are movement – sensation and vibration  - with so many possibilities of being, so many shapes and notes to listen and respond to.
During our time together we will listen to the internal notes and the external ones. In ourselves and in each other, co-creating and welcoming a place of listening, following and creating through the breath, through movement.
Through playing and moving with some of the BISO – Body in Soul -  movement portals and pathways, we will travel into a space of exploring the dance of listening and allowing the movement that is whispering to us, calling to us, to have expression and an allowing.
Spacious ,fluid, present, open to shifting shape and widening our possibilities, our creativity, to the art of living, the art of becoming.

Cathy trained and apprenticed with Gabrielle Roth, the visionary founder of the 5Rhythms® movement meditation practice, and has been immersed in this transformative work since 2004. As a founding member of Open Floor International, she has been instrumental in bringing this practice to a global audience. With a rich background in theatre, writing, and shamanic traditions, Cathy blends artistic expression with deep personal exploration. She leads workshops across Europe and the UK, creating spaces for profound self-discovery and connection. Cathy offers workshops at Oost West Centrum where the magic and complexity of our relationships are explored through dance, music, movement, ritual, and self-inquiry. This workshop was in so many aspect soooo good! It was very clear and easy to follow because there was a line that had been thought out with experience, psychological sensitiveness and love for life and people.
