EFT: Tapping into happiness by letting go of unwanted patterns
Welcome to the EFT weekend! This weekend is all about clearing and healing what stands in the way of the life you want. It is for those who want to go deeper with the Emotional Freedom Technique (newcomers welcomed!!), by becoming more skillful and attuned to the art of tapping.
It is an opportunity to address those areas in your life you'd like to move forward, but feel stuck in- whether professional, personal or health related.
EFT consists in tapping a sequence of acupuncture points and thereby clearing blockages- unpleasant memories and issues- this is why it is also called emotional acupuncture. (For a more detailed description on EFT please click here).
It can help you gain calm and clarity, by instantly addressing unpleasant thoughts and feelings such as stress, anxiety or fatigue. Furthermore, it is an invaluable tool in clearing old unwanted ‚“baggage‚”, that weighs you down unnecessarily and thereby impacts your emotional and physical health.
Our belief system is shaped by our life experiences. Sometimes few, but very decisive negative events can build a false perception of who we are. This can be such a reduced and narrow image, fueled by self-criticism, which limits and holds us back in life. As a result, based on this negative self-image, we end up not applying for that position, we don't give that talk, or we don't pursue the relationship or career we were always dreaming of.
However, there is a way out- it's possible to have autonomy from your past.
During this weekend, we'll start off by going over the basics and then identify the primary blockages that stand in your way from leading the life you want. I will show you how to recognise and clear them, so that you can move through with your issue.
This extended two-day retreat is a response to the growing demand and interest that the tapping technique is generating, based on the fact that it is simple, fast and effective.
Having participated in a previous EFT workshop is an asset, but not a necessity.

Dear friends of EFT,
It is my greatest joy to invite you to the upcoming EFT weekend in Orval.
Many requests have come my way about a follow up course after the introductory class to EFT. If you have been looking for a way to deepen your healing practice and better understand yourself and your emotions then this course is for you.
In this weekend we'll go over the foundations of EFT and then plunge into deeper waters, regarding your health, emotions, as well as goal setting.
You might be in a situation in which you want to start over some aspect of your life- via a new career, maybe by developing your practice as a complementary health practitioner, perhaps you are looking for more peace and serenity after a separation, time of burnout or illness. Whichever it is, you are welcomed with your search and questions and we'll try to address them together.
Part of the course will be an introduction to the Five Element theory that constitutes the basis of Traditional Chinese medicine. Based on this we'll look at emotional patterns that stand in your way and how you can be supported in addressing them.
The aim of this weekend is that you feel strengthened, inspired and filled with an array of tools and insights that can support you on the way to the life you want.
On a personal note- if it wasn't for EFT, I don't think I'd be here writing this letter today. My professional switch, from working as a human rights advocate to setting up my practice and working in the healing arts was not an easy decision to make. But I love this work so much that I was determined to follow this path. EFT really helped to round the edges and supported me in countering my fears associated with this professional switch.
Change takes time, energy and focus. But it can be done.
Looking forward to meeting you there!
